Vulcan Cladding – Vertical Grain by Abodo is crafted for performance, stability and refined aesthetics. Made from sustainably grown New Zealand plantation timber and thermally modified using heat and steam, this product achieves exceptional dimensional stability and durability without the use of chemicals. The result is a cladding board that is resistant to warping and cracking, maintaining its form and finish through a wide range of conditions.
The unique vertical grain structure gives Vulcan Cladding a balanced, linear appearance and improved stability compared to flat-sawn timbers. Builders, designers and architects can specify it confidently for both horizontal and vertical applications, knowing it will age gracefully while maintaining its structural integrity. Profiles such as vertical shiplap or bevel back provide flexibility for a variety of contemporary and traditional designs.
Abodo’s commitment to responsible manufacturing is reflected in every board. Vulcan Cladding is FSC® certified, Declare Red List Free, and verified to store more carbon than is released during its production. This makes it a truly sustainable choice for modern architecture, balancing aesthetics, durability and environmental accountability.
