Description
Heartwood is pale brown and sometimes pinkish. Sapwood is 25 mm wide, not clearly distinguishable from the heartwood. Texture medium with grain often interlocked. Growth rings noticeable but not prominent. Gum veins, pin-hole borer discolouration and ‘pencil streak’are common.
