Description

Heartwood is a creamy colour, as is also the wide sapwood. Texture fine and even with straight grain. Appearance is affected by the slits of latex canals, which are about 10-20 mm long and often occur in clusters at 600-900 mm intervals. The latex is the principal ingredient of chewing gum.

Please note this is a photo that may not reflect the exact true timber colour, as some species vary in colour tones. Grown in Malaysia and Indonesia. Commonly used for joinery flooring boating.
